PRESS RELEASE & CALENDAR LISTING:
24th ANNUAL EARTH POETS & MUSICIANS PERFORMANCES, April 16
and 22, 2011
PRESS RELEASE:
Earth's adrift, freezing up and melting down. Forest fires or
floods, blizzards or droughts, tsunamis, quakes, hurricanes, extreme
events often dominate the day's news. Yet some people prefer to
believe there's no climate change. The Earth Poets & Musicians
recognize we're close to the tipping point. They've been reminding
all doubters since 1988, with wisdom, vision, irony, rhythm, and
even with humor, that Earth's a wondrous place, and we want to
keep it that way. On April 16th at the Coffee House and April
22nd at the Urban EcologyCenter, they will remind us once again,
for the 24th consecutive year!
